Volcanoes

Tornadoes

What is Pollution?

We are studying Air and Water.  We are learning:
  1. The air is warmed by the sun and cooled by the Earth.
  2. There are different types of storms that have strong winds, like hurricanes and tornadoes.
  3. The air is powerful and can be used to make electricity using windmills.
  4. Our bodies are mostly made up of water.
  5. Only 1% of the water on Earth is fresh water that people can use.
  6. Fresh water is found in lakes, rivers, and icebergs.
  7. Water is powerful and can be used to make electricity by spinning turbines.
  8. Water is never lost. It just changes form and moves from the ground to the sky. This is called the Water Cycle.

We know the Air and Water in our environment are very important.  We need to protect these natural resources.
